Do your own thing

There are so many ways you can raise funds for Yorkshire Cat Rescue.  No amount is too small, so even if you run a tiny event with your chums, the money will be appreciated and spent on our cats.

Many people like to have bake sales at work - this is a great way to get to know people and to raise cash for cats at the same time.

There are loads of events where you can challenge yourself with a 5k, 10k, half-marathon or - if you're feeling brave - a marathon.  And if you like a bit of a challenge how about Tough Mudder or Iron Man! You can set up a fundraising page here on our website (select the campaign you want to raise funds for) or if you prefer, you can use the Just Giving website.

Or perhaps you could host an event at your home - a dinner party, selling evening or a garden party.

With your children you could do lots of fun things, and if you have a dog why not get him or her to do a sponsored walk with you and your family - Doggies for Moggies!

Here's an easy fundraiser - simply donate a new soft toy and ask your friends to guess the name.  Once you've sold all the squares, cut up all the names and put them in a hat - the name drawn is the winner, and the person who guessed the name gets the toy.  Download the game sheet here ... Whats_my_name.pdf

THANK YOU - we appreciate all the help you can give us.
