Loved For Life - caring for your cat when you're gone.

Giving you peace of mind for your cat's future.

Loved For Life is a free service offered by Yorkshire Cat Rescue to give peace of mind to cat owners, who may be concerned about what might happen if they were to pass away before their cat.

We know how much your cat means to you, but do you worry about what would happen if you're not there to take care of them? 

What you need to do

It's really simple and easy to register

- complete our registration form by clicking on the blue button below

Register for Loved For Life 

- once you have completed the registration form, you will be prompted to complete a form telling us all about your cat/s

- leave instructions in your will that you would like Yorkshire Cat Rescue to find your cat a loving new home and tell a family member or friend.

Once we receive your forms we will send you confirmation and will ensure that all your information is logged on our database. We will also send you a wallet card and a poster which you can use to alert your friends and family to the fact you have registered to the YCR Loved For Life service.

Our promise to you

Loved For Life is a free service offering you the peace of mind that should the worst happen, Yorkshire Cat Rescue will be there to care for and rehome your cat/s, ensuring them the happy loving future that they deserve. As soon as we have been notified that you have passed away, we will arrange to bring your cat into our care.

We place no time limit on how long a cat can stay with us, and while we’re finding your feline friend a loving new home, you can feel assured that they’ll be given plenty of love, care, and attention from our dedicated team.

We will do all we can to make sure that your cat is happy and healthy before starting the search for their new home. All potential new owners will be thoroughly assessed to be absolutely sure that they are the best match for your pet. We never put a healthy cat to sleep so we will care for your much loved cat for as long as it takes to find them a new home.

Is the service free?

Loved for Life is a free service, however many people who register with the service also choose to remember Yorkshire Cat Rescue in their will, as a thank you for taking care of their treasured feline friend.
