Yorkshire Cat Rescue is running another abseil which will take place on 24th September 2022 at Wakefield Cathedral which has the highest spire in the whole of Yorkshire and you will be scaling the tower at an impressive 164ft!

Just book your place for £25 and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100 - the more you raise the more cats and kittens Yorkshire Cat Rescue can help. The minimum age for taking part is 15 and anyone under 18 will need the consent of a parent or guardian. Jo Beverley, fundraiser for the charity says “We held an abseil in Harrogate last year which everyone really enjoyed and so much money was raised. We can’t wait for this year's event and hope it will be even more successful!”

Yorkshire Cat Rescue exists to save the lives of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in Yorkshire and beyond.  All cats are provided with food, love, shelter and the necessary veterinary care until they find a forever loving home. They do not receive any government support so rely heavily on fundraising events like these to boost their income.

To book your place head over to the charities website or if you do not have internet access you can call Jo on 07985382739 or email [email protected]
