Yorkshire Cat Rescue is a small charity in West Yorkshire that exists to save the lives of abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in Yorkshire and beyond.

They are now heading into their third lockdown and with their charity shops closed and a lack of fundraising opportunities, they are increasingly reliant on public support to continue their work. The past year has been extremely difficult and coming up with new ways to engage people and encourage them to donate or raise money has become more and more challenging..

The latest opportunity for you to get involved and help raise money for the rescue is all about getting feline ft!

Fundraiser Nic Willis and organiser of the campaign says “So many of us indulge a little too much over the festive period and what better way to motivate yourself than by setting yourself a target and raising money for charity! If you love cats or know Yorkshire Cat Rescue please help us by joining in our latest campaign. We are aiming to complete 551 miles in total which is how many cats we managed to re-home last year”.

You can either run, walk or cycle and whatever distance you want to do is up to you! To join in and take part all you have to do is follow the website below.
