Elland Road Abseil

Can we rope you in to our most exciting challenge event yet?

Experience the thrill of abseiling from the famous Elland Road stadium, the home of Leeds United, whilst raising funds for Yorkshire Cat Rescue!

Our abseil will take place at Leeds United FC on Saturday 1st July, and will be hosted by 'Eight Point Two Adventure Challenge Events', who have many years experience of abseiling events.

All participants will be fully trained on the day by experienced staff and will be given an individual time slot.

Costs 

There is a small registration fee of £30 to cover event costs and insurance, and each person will need to try raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship. The more you raise the more cats and kittens you will be helping.

Age and Weight Restrictions

Participants under the age of 18 (minimum age 15) will need a parent or legal guardian to sign the consent forms. 
There is no upper age limit although we would recommend that older individuals consult their doctor if they have any concerns about their health or ability.                                     

We can accommodate people up to 18 stone in weight, but no more due to the restrictions on equipment and loads
exerted, although they may need to be fitted with extra equipment for their comfort. 

Safety

Eight Point Two Events insist upon the very highest standards in safety for all clients and staff taking part in activities. Abseil events involve an element of risk which makes them challenging, exciting and facilitates personal development however, the safety of everyone involved is an absolute priority and Eight Point Two ensures the level of risk is acceptable and appropriate safety standards are maintained at all times. All of the abseil instructors are qualified under the Mountain Training standards and hold First Aid Certificates ensuring the highest level of service is provided. All instructors are passionate about what they do and focused on helping participants to enjoy themselves with friendly coaching and smiles, all helping to create an unforgettable experience and perhaps overcoming a lifetime fear!
