Leonie - Work Experience

I joined Yorkshire Cat Rescue in March 2018 to complete my work experience for my college course. I took part in many roles at the rescue mainly shadowing the amazing CCAs. The day would usually start with cleaning each pen to ensure the cats have a clean area, through the day I would take on other tasks such as completing health checks, cutting claws, grooming and most importantly socialising with the amazing furbabies! I enjoy coming down to the rescue as its such an amazing feeling helping the cats get re-homed and to provide them with the best care possible! I've witnessed so many different cats and lived through their stories, I even documented a few inside of a scrap book I made about my time at YCR, which I took down to the centre!
