You can also bring cash to any of our fundraising events – there is a calendar of these on the “Get Involved/Fundraising” section of our website. Please ensure that if you bring a cash donation to a fundraising event that it is clearly marked as a donation so that it is not included as part of the other funds raised on that day. We do not recommend that you put cash in the post. Please Gift Aid your donation if possible.
Online and telephone donations using your credit card
Please click on the one of the buttons below. Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving will collect your donation, and Gift Aid if applicable, and put the money directly into our bank account. They will make a small charge to us for this. You can also select Paypal (use the button on the top). Paypal also make a charge and they will not collect Gift Aid.
We will also accept credit card donations over the phone. Please call 01535 647184 during our opening hours (see above) and make your donation that way. Please DON’T leave your credit card details on our answer machine!
Online donations direct from your bank to ours
Our bank details are: Yorkshire Bank, Keighley; Sort code – 05-05-35; account number – 17488411. If you make an anonymous donation in this way, we are unable to acknowledge it, or send you copies of our newsletter, as the bank do not provide us with your address details. If we are able to identify you from the donation we will be able to acknowledge receipt. We are also unable to claim Gift Aid unless you identify yourself and your donation to us.
Alternatively, you can download, complete and send to us a Standing order form (you can change the wording to “one-off gift”) – we will then be able to thank you and let you know our news and stories about our cats.
Standing Order donations
You can download a form below which you should print off, complete and return to us. You can also set up a regular donation using our bank details, which are Yorkshire Bank, Keighley; Sort – 05-05-35; account number – 17488411, however, please be aware that if you set up a regular donation directly with the bank we are usually unable to acknowledge it, or send you copies of our newsletter, as the bank do not provide us with your address details. We are also unable to claim Gift Aid unless you identify yourself and your donation to us.

If you wish to make an anonymous donation, we suggest that you either send us a bank draft or slip your donation into an envelope and hand it to us at one of our fundraising events or at our centre, omitting to include your name and address. We will be unable to acknowledge it, or send you copies of our newsletter. We are also unable to claim Gift Aid unless you identify yourself and your donation to us.
If you are thinking of holding a sponsored event for us, or taking part in one organised by someone else, you can now have an online fundraising page too! There are lots of suggestion here for different types of fundraising events you could hold. We would also love you to think of you own unique idea to raise money for Yorkshire Cat Rescue. As a registered charity, we can claim gift aid on any donations made to us by a UK taxpayer who has agreed to allow us to do this. Gift Aid costs the donor nothing as long as they have paid sufficient tax in the UK in the year in which the donation is made. So, for example, if you donate £25, we can claim 20% of this from the Inland Revenue, so your donation will be worth an extra £6.25. This money is very important to us, so please do make a declaration if you can. For us to claim Gift Aid, we need your name, your address including postcode and a written confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer and have paid or will pay sufficient tax in the year in which you make the donation(s). You can either make the declaration with your payment, or download a separate form below.
